Cousin Time!

 Ahh Blogger has to go and change how you post things - stress, so my pictures are all a jumbled mess.  Anyways - we were so lucky to have Coby's sister, Angie and her family come visit us.  We had so much fun...my camera came out a few random times and the rest of the fun is pictureless.  We ventured to the zoo...it was so hot - the hottest day of the year so far about 105 (the third week in April).  We were all exhausted and melting by the time we left.

 What is a trip to AZ if you don't get to Bahama Bucks?!

 We hadn't seen baby Kyler since he was a few days old - I couldn't believe how cute he was or how red his hair is turning...seriously so cute.

 Baby Kyler's first time swimming and he actually fell asleep. (Our pool was still heated, so the water was perfect).

 Another zoo picture...the kids couldn't wait for the splash pad at the zoo - Kamree was the only one that held still long enough for a picture.

Coby finally convinced me to let him have Kyler - so he sits down and falls asleep...so I had to take him back :)  Thanks Angie, Kadin, and family for spending a few days with us.  We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute!!

Last Game!

Saturday was Alayna's last soccer game of the season...Benson headed out to stretch with team. Everybody was so good to Benson - he really felt like part of the Purple People Eaters too.

Go #8!! Alayna had a great season...full of unforgettable moments. She loved playing soccer and loved her team. She came close several times to scoring a goal, but the one goal she did get was for the other team...we cheered like crazy and still took her out to wherever she wanted to go for lunch. She was definitely the team comedian :)

Go Purple People Eaters!!

The girls loved getting together for one final hurrah - to celebrate the season (7-1) - even though we weren't supposed to keep score. Pizza party and a trophy presentation was the perfect ending to one awesome soccer season...we just wish we were going to be here in the fall - so we could keep playing with our team!

Easter Fun!

Coby's sister Kasey and her friend Whitney...came south to the warm weather for their spring break. We had fun with them - sunburns and all.

I have been a horrible picture-taker this year so far...my kids are growing so fast and time is flying by...Benson loved dyeing easter eggs...he was throwing them in the dye as fast as he could and up on the table checking them...it was all a little bit stressful to be honest, but we made it through without any major spills - phew...

Kasey and Whitney did a big Easter egg hunt for the kids...they loved it! (Thanks Grandma!)

Benson didn't want to bother with his bucket...so he was trying to tote around armfuls of eggs...it was pretty funny.

We LOVE Bahama Bucks....our punch card was full - so we had a Freebie and we shared an "Everest" it was huge and beyond delicious.

Happy Easter...I didn't get a picture of the kids in their Sunday Easter outfits...but you will just have to take my word that they looked adorable :)

Making Memories

I can't believe that we are moving to the East Coast....Virginia seems so far away but an amazing opportunity for our family - and just where we need to be. So we had to take one more trip to Disneyland - since it will most likely be a long time before we make it again. We were so excited that Grandma, Grandpa, and Kasey came with us. We all had the best time...

Alayna specifically requested that she get to try to pull the sword....she really thought she could do it - then she had about a million questions why she couldn't get it out, but "Wart" could...

Star Tours 3D - we loved it...and Alayna will probably have a new obsession. It has been all about Star Wars at our house lately - even though she only watches for a half an hour or so a day. She wants to know who everyone is and what they do and if they are good or bad - and we have only watched the first half of Episode IV a few times...and her expression in this pic is hilarious :)

Every time we got off a ride I asked Benson if he liked it - to which he would always reply, "I LOVED it. Let's do it again!"

Coby's highlight of the trip was meeting the Wicked Queen from Snow White...

Alayna's new favorite pose...I think she saw one to many people also doing it and decided to follow suit - it suits her and makes her smile real instead of so goofy.

Kasey was a real trooper to give Alayna a shoulder ride.

Disney Days

I think one of my favorite Disneyland Magical Moments...is when my kids meet the characters they know and love...Benson and Alayna were so excited to have their turn with Mickey - Alayna is so enthralled she can't even look towards the camera...pure happiness!



Benson is on Cloud 9 - Minnie gave him a kiss and he held his cheek and talked about his kiss from Minnie all day -ahhh!

Just when Benson thought life couldn't get any better...he saw Jessie - and she hugged him and touched his cheek - he sure has these Disney girls wrapped around his finger.

Like I said - I never get these "pure happiness" smiles whenever I pull out the camera.

Our last day at Disneyland was really rainy...and while we took a break from the rain - we were able to meet some Star Wars characters....Alayna was thrilled she loved Star Tours the ride - and was extremely curious about all of these characters...she has been asking questions about them constantly and was so excited to watch the movies when we got home.

San Diego

Last week Coby finally had 8 days off of work - and we vacationed! After Alayna's soccer game - where she scored her first goal of the season (for the other team...which we totally celebrated just in case it is her only goal) we headed to beautiful San Diego. We went to the beach - and even though it was a bit cold...the kids loved it.

We also went to Seaport Village - can I just say, my kids are attracted to water...they love to splash and have to put their hands in every fountain we come across.

Gearing up for Disneyland...

We had so much staying with Coby's Aunt Trish and her family - we were also very lucky that Grandma Carol came to visit the same time we did - what a treat for us!


We also went to the San Diego Science Museum...where the kids fought over driving the firetruck...we loved all the hands-on exhibits.

Benson loved the balls the best....we need one of these in our house - neverending fun!
