Too Much Fun = Too Many Pictures!

We went to the Children's Museum when Tifani was here and the girls were in 7th Heaven!

Alayna and Madeline loved shopping in the Grocery Store...

Riding in the car...which you could fill up with gas and put air in the tires.

Moira loves Benson - or just mauling him...whenever she could - she was crawling on him and trying to steal his binky and put it in her mouth...

Alayna actually did really good climbing the wall - she had to do it because all the boys there were doing it...(thats my girl!)

We loved dressing up in all the costumes that were there...(I'm just hoping we didn't bring any lice bugs home!)

Benson just took it easy all day.... he is real loved!

Cute Moira ate the whole day long - just doing what she does best!

Alayna is an "ironing" pro - just like her dad! It was so funny because this is the first thing she picked up in this play house and she hung on to the iron for probably a half an hour.

Ride 'em Cowgirl!

We signed up for a class at the museum to make bird feeders - the class was at 1:00 and we hadn't taken a break for lunch yet - and so Alayna puts one swipe of Peanut Butter on her wreath and eats the rest of her cup by spoonfuls! Then she started eating another cup of PB - Madeline on the other hand was freaking out because she had PB on her fingers. We laughed real hard when we left and Alayna started snitching fingerfuls of PB and birdseed off of the other kids' wreaths and eating it!

Surprise!!

We were so excited to have a surprise visit from my sister, Tifani and her family all the way from Indiana. We played hard all week and had such a great time with them and wished they lived closer!! Tifani is learning the "Thriller" dance with some friends to perform at a ward talent show - we found her the perfect dress to wear!

Here is my sweet little Benson...he is really noticing his hands and is so cute to watch as he sits and twiddles his fingers all day long. He loves to hold and shake his rattle, but our favorite thing to watch him do - is to give him his binky and watch him try and get it in his mouth...it is too cute - he tries so hard. That is what he is trying to do in this picture.

My mom found some cute dress-up clothes for the girls to wear - the outfit Alayna is wearing - I wore for my very first dance recital - when I was three, just a little bit older than Alayna is now.
Benson has figured out how to blow bubbles and he does it all the time - he usually gets a pretty good trail going when he stays focused.

Naptime or not...with Kali...I believe Alayna and Madeline both got up - and Kali had a two hour nap all by herself.

We love spring and the warm weather - so we have practically been living at the park...

Easter Madness!

On Saturday night during Priesthood session - the girls bypassed shopping (thats what happens when there is a lack of moolah) for an evening of egg decorating. Alayna loved it and dyed two and a half dozen eggs for an hour and a half. I couldn't believe it kept her occupied for so long.

It is a good thing we didn't have to go to church on Sunday - Alayna was covered in dye - it was on her feet, hands, and face...

Easter was a great day - it was so funny when Alayna got up - we were sitting in bed awake with Benson waiting for her to get up - and she ran as fast as she could to see what the Easter Bunny brought for her. She had left the remains of her binkies (they had all been snipped) in her Easter Basket with some carrots for the Easter Bunny the night before and the Easter Bunny made good on his promise of bringing her treats and prizes!
I really enjoyed talking to Alayna about Easter - she seemed to understand. We talked about how Jesus was resurrected and we will be resurrected someday. We used her glove to illustrate about our bodies and spirits and what happens at birth and resurrection. Then I asked her where her spirit was and she said, "My spirit is in my belly mom."

An Easter tubby at Grandma's - Benson has only had a tubby in the sink and he was laughing and so excited to watch Alayna in the tub - we figured he wanted in too.

My Singing Sweetheart

We have been learning Nephi's Courage - these last couple of weeks and I love it when she sings this song. She also learned the 1st Article of Faith in nursery and we have been practing it too - so here they are!!

Taste the Rainbow

I made these rainbow cupcakes for New Beginnings this last week. They were a huge hit! Since I didn't like the frosting shown here - it didn't work like I wanted it to. We put whipped cream on them instead and they were delicious. I got the idea here .

My baby sister Kali went to Prom last weekend and looked absolutely beautiful!!

Kali and the lucky guy Pat.

Coby found this worm and I can't believe that Alayna actually held it...I thought she would have freaked out as scared of spiders as she is...
All dolled up in a new Easter outfit!
Hehe - just a funny little picture of Benson. I had the flash on the camera and it totally caught him off guard. By the way - I love those chubby cheeks! (You can just say it - he looks real healthy...)
