Just A Smattering!

Here is a smattering of pictures from our recent trip to Las Vegas, San Diego, and Disneyland with Coby's family. We had so much fun and took a ton of pictures so here is just a smattering of pics and what we did.
We stopped first in Las Vegas - where we stayed at the Luxor and played all day in the pool. Alayna loves to swim and is fearless.

We went to the water show at the Bellagio - probably our favorite thing to do in Vegas - and Alayna was mesmerized to say the least - she still hasn't stopped talking about the dancing water - which at first she thought was fire. Everytime she watches "Bolt" she reminds us of the water show too.

Next we stayed for a couple of days in San Diego with Coby's Aunt Trish and her family. We had a good time enjoying the tidepools, the beach(even though it was too cold to swim), and the old shops just of the coast in Ocean Beach. At the tide pools, Alayna loved to watch the crabs and poke the anemones. When the tide is out - the anemones curl up on themselves to stay protected and if you poke them they squeeze tighter and tighter until they squirt a little stream of water - which the kids loved!

We also got to go to the "Happiest Place on Earth" - Disneyland! Can you guess what we rode the most times?! - the carousel! Alayna loved all of the rides - Pirates took a little warming up to - but suprisingly she talks about it the most - we sing the Pirate song all the time - and she always says, "Big slide - scary!"

Alayna's favorite part about Disneyland - hands down - was the characters. It didn't matter if she knew them or not - she was crazy about them. We went to the character breakfast the first morning we were at Disneyland and were greeted by Minnie Mouse. You can tell how excited she was. We filled Alayna's autograph book and she looks at it daily.

Everybody has to love Big Thunder Ranch - or just us because we were the only ones in there...Alayna loved the goats. She had to pet all of them two or three times and there were about 15 of them. Long story short - the goats were a huge hit with us!

We had such a great time and are so grateful we could enjoy it with Coby's family!
